Required in CA for districts receiving Title IV Safe & Drug-Free Schools & Communities Fund and Tobacco Use Prevention Education grants

The Core module collects demographic background data (age, sex, race/ethnicity) and covers key questions in four priority areas: resilience, alcohol and drug use, tobacco use, and violence and school safety.

It provides a comprehensive overview to health-related behavior and attitudes, and includes one item that assesses the reliability of answers.
