Using Results

Conducting the survey and receiving the official reports summarizing the results are just the first steps in the data-driven decision making process to improve program, school, and community efforts to better support and meet the needs of youth. The next step is to thoroughly review the CHKS Guidebook to Data Use and Dissemination (pdf).

This section provides links to workshops that are available; examples of reports that schools have created to disseminate their results; and testimonials on how the data have made a difference. In addition, there is a resource library of topical factsheets and other reports & publications that analyze the survey results, the relationship between health and academic achievement, and the results to create a system of supports to promote resilience and positive youth development.
